DER Touristik participates separately in three different segments of the market: As a traditional tour operator, a specialist in individual holiday and long-haul travel and last but not least the tavel agency sales take place via "DER Deutsches Reisebüro GmbH & Co. OHG".

Our operator brands

We offer our customers traditional holiday trips under the brands of ITS, Jahn Reisen and Tjaereborg. Individual and long-haul travel are covered by the brand names of Dertour, Meier's Weltreisen and ADAC Reisen.

Our sales brands

DER Touristik currently has 2,100 high street travel agencies. This makes it the market leader in Germany.
DER Touristik's travel agency operations are divided into different segments. Branch sales take place under the DER brand name, direct sales being handled by the DER travel agencies. Online sales are the domain of DER.COM, whereas the franchise sales brands are Derpart and DER Touristik Partner. DER Touristik also has five cooperation systems in place for external sales. It is the number 2 business travel provider on the German market, where it operates via the branch system DER Business Travel and the franchise system Derpart Travel Service.

Our specialist and hotel brands

The DER Touristik portfolio includes specialist brands such as Dr. Holiday,, camperboerse,, and a shareholding in HolidayInsider.
It also encompasses the hotel brands ltihotels, Club Calimera and PrimaSol Hotels. Our tourism programme is further enhanced by a worldwide network of incoming agencies, the company's own car rental stations at airports and extensive shareholdings abroad.

Business Travel

The business travel market sits alongside the tour operator business as an important segment for DER Touristik.
DER Business Travel, Derpart Travel Service and DER Corporate Solutions all offer innovative solutions for corporate clients by providing a varying spectrum of services relating to the professional and efficient management of business travel and corporate events.

Our commitment - help for little ones

Social commitment and taking on social responsibility constitute an integral part of our corporate philosophy. For this reason, in the year 2000 the "Good Deed" programme was initiated. Since then the employees who work at the Frankfurt location have been actively involved in it. In the course of the year, funds are raised through a huge variety of individual activities - by employees for employees - also with the support of the company. The recipients of the donations are nonprofit organisations in the Rhein-Main region, which is where the head office is located. In order to use those funds to help in a targeted way, the "Good Deed" initiative has been supporting the Child Welfare Association of Frankfurt since 2006. Among other things, the association gives abused or sexually exploited children and teenagers the opportunity to work through and deal with what they have experienced with the help of therapists. This long-term partnership with the Child Welfare Association is aimed at providing sustainable assistance for this urgently needed project.

Furthermore, as tour operators Dertour, Meier´s Weltreisen and ADAC Reisen also support the battle against sexual exploitation of children in countries that are holiday destinations. As members of the Association of German Travel Agents and Tour Operators (DRV), they have joined forces with the internationally active children's rights organisation ECPAT to champion children's rights and fight against sexual abuse. An extensive code of ethics has been agreed upon jointly.
